Custom tents are needed for various reasons. The most common reasons are site size and foundation parameters, special engineering specifications, permanent applications with various obstructions and even just wanting to be able offer a unique product. Below are three examples of custom tents and the challenges we overcame in putting them together.

CHALLENGE: PANORAMIC VIEWS

This structure was built to meet the high wind restrictions for its long-term installation, while providing panoramic views. The open windows in the gable end and expanded windows in the sliding sidewall solved this issue. The tent was fully lined and special chandeliers were installed for a sophisticated look.

CHALLENGE: JOB SITE CONDITIONS

The site layout for this custom tent was challenging due to the transition between a 45’ gable tent and a 20’ gable tent. All transition areas had to be watertight and it was necessary to build a cantilever frame to keep water away.

CHALLENGE: TIGHT SPACES

Site conditions for this high profile party included extremely tight corners. The height of the home and unique landscaping dictated how this custom tent was built. The existing conditions also caused concerns that water run off may spill onto the marble patio. We resolved the issue with a cantilever frame, which extended the water run off away from the party area and over the back wall.
